Designing a passionate life requires clarity, commitment, and action. I agree with Barbara Sher’s quote that reads "pursuing your dream “...isn't a luxury that can wait until you've taken care of the 'serious' business of life. It's a necessity." Many people spend the bulk of their lives earning money and working at something they don't love and this is NOT living a passionate life. Most people spend their lives working towards the goal of retirement and then do what they really want to with their lives. Is that what you want your life to be about?
It's very easy to slip into a daily routine and delay changing your life so that you are living your life the way you want and doing work that you love. Take a look at your life and examine what your actions say to you. Are you taking action to create a passionate life or are you in the mode of acquiring more "stuff" and putting off your dreams? What is your heart's desire and how does your life reflect that desire? What do you truly want your life to look like?
Creating a passionate life and doing what you love to do is not going to happen overnight. It requires commitment and many many small steps. You can start the process while working at your full time job. It will take time, dedication, persistence and passion, but it can be done. I guarantee that if you take no action, nothing will change and you will continue to suffer from Passion Deficit Disorder (PDD). Take the first step now and sign up for my free PDD report.
